Non-negotiable:
• Very heavy experience in Palo Alto and Cisco brand network devices, routing on the Cisco side, support and configuration;
• Certification: CCNA (required); PCNSE and CCNP (nice to have)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain under operational conditions the current and new network infrastructure and security solutions in respect of the Support processes.
Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and new network infrastructure (including WAN, LAN, WLAN and network services/vendors equipment's like NLB, Riverbed, Meraki, F5, Cisco ISE/NAC, Velocloud SD-WAN, SolarWinds) and security solutions (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Skybox)
Senior level of operational support on:
Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,
Reporting and communication on activity, quality and performance of the network platforms and security solutions
Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.
Assist new implementations of all Network and Security Infrastructure components
Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the network platforms and security solutions
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions.
Provide recommendations to the highest level of expertise teams.
PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:
Preferably CCNP and Palo Alto Certified
Administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks
• Routing protocols configuration and troubleshooting (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP …)
• LAN technologies administration and troubleshooting (VRRP, VSS, STP…)
• QoS mechanisms
• Wifi controllers and access points administration (Cisco, Meraki)
• Load Balancer (F5/NetScaler)
• Firewall (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
• SD-WAN (VeloCloud)
• WAN Compression and Optimization (Riverbed)
• Cisco Meraki (Wireless, Firewalling)
• Telephony Support (Cisco, 3CX)
Security Administration with Palo Alto, Skybox, Checkpoint and Fortinet Firewalls, Pulse remote access, Reverse Proxy
DNS and Domain Management (Infoblox, IPAM)
Authorization and Authentication (Cisco ISE/NAC, Radius, Tacacs)
SolarWinds Management (Full lifecyle)
SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:
Knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Cloud)
Knowledge in ITIL framework
BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:
7-10 years' experience in infrastructure, with 5-7 years as Network Administrator.
Strong Knowledge of Cisco network products, Security products (Palo Alto, Skybox, Checkpoint, Fortinet), Optimization and Load Balancing (F5, Riverbed) and Network Monitoring (SolarWinds).
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ready to engage in several engagements and consulting of internal as well as external customers.
Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession.
Team player. Must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, close collaboration, and a willingness to learn.
Customer service oriented.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
English speaking is mandatory (French reading would be appreciated).
Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints.
Willing to do some traveling.
