JOB SUMMARY
The Network Administrator ensures our data communications network's reliability, security, and efficiency by
deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring all active network equipment, ensuring seamless network
operations.
Ultimately, the Network Administrator maintains a robust and dependable network infrastructure for Nabati in the Philippines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Fully supports, configures, maintains, and upgrades corporate customer's networks and in-house servers
• Installs and integrates new server hardware and applications
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Supports and administers third-party applications
• Ensures network security and connectivity
• Monitors network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Sets up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
• Resolves problems reported by end user
• Ensure all the equipment is in good condition to ensure smooth business operations
• Aligns network policies and procedures in the Philippines with those of the Headquarters
• Specifies system requirements and design solutions
• Researches and makes recommendations on server system administration
• Train the end users for proper usage and standard maintenance procedure (SMP) of the equipment
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
• Determines, enforces, and documents database policies, procedures, and standards
• Performs tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity
• Monitors database performance implements changes, and applies new patches and versions when required
• Ensures the database is backed up properly
• Updates and creates a report using crystal report for end users
JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field
• Proven experience in a network administrator role
• Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
• Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
• Juniper, Cisco, CWNA, or BCNE training is an advantage but not a requirement
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Amenable to onsite work and shifting schedule
