Position Description:
We are looking for a .Net Developer with SQL Server and e-Commerce experience. The candidate must be willing to report onsite at least 3x a week in Alabang.?
Non-negotiable skills:
• NET experience with C# as the primary language, SQL Server, JavaScript, and .NET API development;
• Must have e-Commerce experience;
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Participate in feature development and maintenance of webstore platform, related .NET APIs, underlying
SQL Server entities, and business logic.
• Keep the code base healthy. Issue GIT pull requests and participate in code review.
• Assist with the webstore team's level 3 software response with timely resolution of issues.
• Self-test code prior to releasing to production and lead production releases in partnership with the QA team.
• Apply stories in Jira in a timely manner.
• Look for opportunities for improving to the system, its architecture and underlying code base
• Participate in agile ceremonies including estimation, standups, grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Apply updates to stories in Jira.
• Regularly update user stories and tasks to reflect the current status of sprint.
• Work closely with business owners to provide best possible estimates and timelines.
• Self-test stories prior to engaging the QA team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified by the QA team and customers.
• Work closely with the product owner to understand requirements and scope work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
• Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, and close collaboration.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Core Qualifications and Education:
• 5 years of combined software development experience on any set of platforms or languages.
• 3 years of experience building applications that run on SQL Server.
• 3 years of .NET experience with C# as the primary language.
• 2 years of experience with JavaScript.
• 2 years of experience with .NET API development.
• 1 year of experience with GitHub including accepting and submitting pull requests.
• 1 year of experience with agile software development processes.
• Must have e-Commerce experience
• Familiarity with entity framework
• Familiarity with .NET Core preferred
• Solid foundational software knowledge (testing, version control, and concepts such as DRY and SOLID).
• Strong knowledge of web fundamentals (HTTP, response codes, REST.).
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to learn new patterns and technologies
• Candidate must be amenable to reporting at least 3x a week on the client site in Alabang.
