About the Role: 
The National Sales Manager will lead the charge in developing and executing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance, fostering key relationships, and driving revenue growth to maintain market dominance. Their expertise will be crucial in accelerating sales, expanding markets, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet financial targets.
Channel Management: Define, differentiate and win across various trade channels, customers and whiles leveraging product segmentations to grow market share of brands; Explore growth through online channels of trade accounts
Performance Monitoring: Monitor team and individual sales targets and metrics, providing valuable feedback and analysis to Management, Sales and Business teams.
Business Development: Drive proactive outreach and lead the development of a robust client base, both individually and through your sales team.
Market Expansion: Identify and seize new market opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key accounts.
Brand Growth: Plan and execute trade plans of respective brands collaborating with brand teams; elevate presence in stores and maintain/improve displays in trade accounts
Market Insights: Stay ahead of the competition by closely monitoring market conditions and competitors' activities, recommending strategies to maintain market dominance.
Collaboration: Work closely with Brand teams to create customer and shopper programs that will accelerate sales and market share.
Forecasting and Reporting: Ensure accurate sales forecasting, account planning, and regularly prepare sales reports for informed decision-making.
Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate and close agreements with key accounts to drive revenue growth.
Training and Coaching: Provide consistent coaching on sales techniques, product knowledge, and client relations to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
Trade Investments: Monitor investments and programs made to ensure profitable growth on the part of the customers.
Team Leadership: Train and develop team members; establish a culture of winning, execution, discipline
Job Qualifications:
At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Managers specializing in Trade/Corporate Sales
Experience in handling and coaching a high performing sales team
Ability to come up with creative solutions in delivering results
Strong relationship building skills to develop partnerships with accounts
Familiarity with the route to market principles and basic point of purchase drivers
