BRIEF:
The position requires knowledge in Real Estate Mortgage and Land Titles and Deeds in relation to Housing Loan applications of those from underprivileged communities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Laws
TRAINING: At least 16 hours of relevant training
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of relevant work experience
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Reviews and validates loan and mortgage documents as to their validity, legality, enforceability, and acceptability based on the CMP (Community Mortgage Program) policies and guidelines;
2. Prepares mortgage examination findings through thorough review of the submitted documents for approval of loan application;
3. Assists in communicating mortgage examination findings accurately to stakeholders for correct and complete compliance;
4. Prepares transmittal letter for the release of check payments to landowner/s for proper monitoring of payment;
5. Coordinates with SHFC linkages and partners to secure documents necessary for the approval of the loan applications;
6. Collates the required documents necessary for the transfer of title to community association's name with annotation of the REM;
7. Collates and reviewing of mortgage documents after issuance of letter of guaranty based on the ME checklist for processing of loan release;
8. Maintains proper safekeeping of mortgage documents submitted including title's property with annotation of the REM for the protection of the released loan;
9. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time;
