As a Monetization Specialist at Seedworld, you will play a critical role in operating our games as a successful business. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize revenue potential by designing, implementing, and optimizing monetization strategies that align with the customer lifecycle needs. You will work closely with product managers, game designers, data analysts, and marketing teams to create and refine monetization models that enhance player engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive monetization strategies for our video games, focusing on in-game purchases, subscriptions, and other revenue streams. 
Understand and analyze player behavior throughout different stages of the customer lifecycle to create tailored monetization solutions that enhance player engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
Use data analytics to monitor and optimize the performance of monetization initiatives, including in-game economy, pricing models, and promotional events. Identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions to increase revenue.
Work closely with game designers, product managers, and marketing teams to ensure monetization strategies are integrated seamlessly with game design and user experience.
Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different monetization tactics and strategies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging monetization techniques to ensure our games remain competitive and innovative.
Create regular reports on monetization performance, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Game Design, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in monetization, game operations, or product management within the video game industry.
Proven track record of successfully driving revenue growth in free-to-play or live-service games.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools). Familiarity with game development tools and platforms is a plus.
Deep understanding of game economies, user acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. Familiarity with different monetization models, including in-app purchases, subscription services, and ad-based monetization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and present complex ideas.
A genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of player motivations and behavior.
Location: 100% remote
