JOB SUMMARY
This position is accountable for ensuring that the mold dies, dies and fixture are accurately assembled by careful complying with required specification, under guidance of a leader.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Perform as a Team Member.Analyzes specification, layout metal stocks; sets up and operates machine tools; fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair plastic molds/metal stamping and dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, and machinist hand tools.Applies knowledge of tool and die design, mold making and shop mathematics, metal properties and layout matching and assembly procedures.Ensures correct fitting of core and cavity insert to core and cavity plate.Measures and checks important and critical mold parts.Disassembles molds.In-charge of trial assembly, final assembly, and participates in mold testing.Accomplishes all kinds of Bench work, like, (tapping, filing, drilling, tapping, reaming, grinding machining, and revising of mold parts.Fabricates mold, jig and tools.Practices appropriate and proper use of safety equipment provided by the Company.Conducts mold / tooling incoming inspection.Safekeeps instruments tools and equipments assigned to department.Complies to Quality Management System - ISO procedure of company.Responsible in mold repairs, monthly maintenance of molds and semestral preventive maintenance of machines used in mold repair.Compliance with the Management System ( ISO 9001:2015 , ISO 14001:2015 , ISO 45001: 2018 , RBA Code of Conduct).Other task that may assigned by immediate superior.
