It involves in liaising with the Residence Manager and other Residence Staff by guaranteeing that duties and responsibilities are shared in the best way to deliver excellent service. Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve? Housekeeping Duties To keep and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the Residence by good housekeeping skills including but not limited to caring of furniture and fixtures, washing and ironing of clothes, linens and cleaning of T&B. To maintain Residence working areas in compliance with relevant health and safety standards including effective management of waste and recycling. To inform the Residence Manager of any top up with regard to wet and dry goods, laundry and cleaning materials and other necessary items to maintain sufficient supplies. To liaise with JLL (facilities management) on a case to case base to raise a work order for urgent item/s. Cooking and Management Event To make sure that the Residence is ready to receive Ambassador's guests both for official and private engagements. To provide an excellent service to all visitors including VVIP, VIP, senior officials, international visitors and senior dignitaries. Play a leading role in the preparation and delivery of Residence events such as but not limited to tea times, round table discussions, lunches, dinners, receptions, garden events, including the King's Birthday Party. Caring of all catering equipment, kitchen appliance, crystals, cutlery, silverware and glassware. Report any breakage and discrepancies. Assist Chef in the kitchen when there is a function only when needed and keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times. Prepare and serve meals to the Ambassador, his/her family and guests when required and wash up. Resources managed (staff and expenditure): No direct line management responsibility, but responsible for working closely with a Residence team. Responsible for management, inventory and reporting of any and all household items, loss, discrepancy or breakage. Responsible for Cash Imprest filing.
