FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT & MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
MIS Officer designs, builds and runs insight driven organizations by helping to maximize the potential value of analytics and information to achieve company targets, deliver operational excellence, identify products/solutions opportunities, competitive agility, and growth thru an integrated, comprehensive & efficient approach in creating strategy, managing data, delivering information, improving performance, optimizing insights, building capabilities, and managing environments
The MIS Officer will be responsible for gathering and processing key information to manage and lead the critical performance management areas of key departments within ITG. MIS will be leading key planning activities with information that influences decision making. Accuracy and timeliness will be a key area of performance as well as the ability to internalize and understand key processes and personalities that influence information and performance of the company. Extraction, integration and automation of this vital information will be key drivers of his/ her performance. The MIS Officer must be proactive in identifying and delivering new information that will be vital to the internal customers and do predictive analysis of what can happen based on historical information gathered. The use of generative AI will be key in pushing faster information processing as well as insight / information sharing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational analysis as it relates to volume, efficiencies, cycle time, quality, and service
? Report on operational metrics, conduct data and business analysis, and present summary of findings to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format
? Create and maintain daily operational scorecards to track and report on KPIs; assist in volume forecast and capacity planning as needed
? Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner
? Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
? Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency
? Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis
? Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team
? Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed
? Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
? Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues.
? Establish a strong relationship with Team Managers and management through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the business issues at hand
? Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvements
? Maintain thorough understanding of data and information resources
? Maintain a status on all projects and proactively communicate with management and customers
? Creates, implements, maintains all relevant fields/data for reports and other operational requirement (Master Data Owner)
? Participates actively in the corporate/business planning by providing significant information and insights
? Co-responsible in ensuring 100% data/information security
? Participates actively in process mapping/audits for compliance activities specially on ISO applications by providing essential and critical data & information required
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelor's degree in IT-Information Management/MIS/Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or a related field required
Preferably with technical skills on Oracle NetSuite, ZOHO, Suite/MS SQL, MS Access or any other BI/analytics/datamining platform/technology
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 3-year experience in providing management/operational reports & analysis
Has experience in Dashboard/BI Management & Data Mining Tools
Preferably from IT solutions company or any service-oriented industry
Analytical experience required
Preferably with project management experience
Any Six-Sigma work application is a plus
