As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking for a talented Web Developer to join their dynamic team and to help them grow and optimize the online and e-commerce presence across various websites.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Digital and Programmer Developer, your primary role is to build, improve, and maintain a variety of web assets and e-commerce stores; and ensure a high level of code standards are adhered to. This position is full-time at Clark office, working alongside an existing team. Duties and Responsibilities: Shopify Development (E-commerce Platform): Customize Shopify themes using Liquid to meet client needs Develop and implement UI Extensions for Shopify to enhance the user interface and customer experience Build and maintain private apps that consume Shopify's API to extend store functionality and integrate third-party services Implement and manage sales, promotions, and discount calculations for Shopify stores Integrate and manage payment gateways, ensuring secure transactions Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Shopify themes, UI Extensions, and apps, ensuring a seamless user experience Ensure compatibility with various devices and browsers by applying responsive design principles to Shopify themes Integrate Shopify with external services via Web APIs, using JavaScript or jQuery for API communication Neto Development (E-commerce Platform): Customize Neto themes and e-commerce functionality, ensuring high performance and scalability Implement and manage sales, promotions, and discount calculations for Neto stores Integrate and manage payment gateways for Neto platforms Update and maintain Neto themes as required Manage Neto e-commerce features, including sales promotions, orders, transactions, and payment gateways Integrate Neto with external services via APIs and optimize performance for scalability. WordPress Development: Maintain and customize WordPress websites as required, ensuring that the site remains up-to-date and functional Implement custom themes and plugins, ensuring WordPress integrations work seamlessly with other platforms Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues, ensuring optimal site performance SEO and Performance Optimization: Analyse technical SEO performance and make recommendations for improvements across all websites Implement SEO strategies and integrate with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager to track and improve site performance Collaboration and Communication: Work with local and remote teams to deliver high-quality web solutions Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and development milestones Deliver projects on time while maintaining high coding standards and performance metrics Must-have Skills / Qualification: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in front-end development and theme customisations Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Experience in developing UI extensions, plugins, and add-ons, along with private app development that integrates with e-commerce APIs Strong experience in managing sales, promotions, and discount calculations on e-commerce platforms Strong experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and other webmaster tools for optimizing site performance Ability to work with Web APIs and communicate effectively between platforms and external services Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and deliver on project requirements. Experience with WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin management Strong experience with PHP and MySQL for backend development and database management Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with back-end and/or server-side skills.
