Job description
Provide second-level support for assigned production-related application incidents within established service level requirements and application maintenance in coordination with the vendor where applicable.
Minimize the occurrence of application incidents by investigating, analyzing, developing and implementing corrective measures as directed.
Provide support for operational requests received within agreed TAT.
Provide technical inputs to address maintenance requirements.
Provide technical inputs for requirements of assigned key initiatives for application stability or customer experience or improve business unit's operational efficiency.
Prepare technical design documents where applicable.
Code programs based on requirements in accordance with company programming standards.
Perform unit testing, document test results and prepare unit test signoff form; or review other programmers or vendor's test results where applicable or assigned.
Provide technical support and/or resolution/fixes to reported errors during systems testing/systems integration testing and user acceptance testing where needed.
Prepare application for implementation in test and production environments with the necessary documents according to the change control standard.
Provide technical input if there is proposed service catalogue item for handled application, deliver automation or provide procedures and monitor implementation of the service catalogue.
Work with other IT Delivery units' personnel to plan and execute service transition activities of applications.
Maintain the application section of the Technical Recovery Procedure of the supported application.
Train, as necessary, other Programmer Analysts on application functionality and features, Department and Division function, guidelines and processes to be followed; provide technical guidance to other programmers where needed.
Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications

Must have an experience as a Programmer Analyst or Frontend Developer. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in advance core JavaScript skills (closure, promises, ES6, concurrency, event loop, etc.) (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in software design. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in microservices development (Express or Loopback). (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall or Agile). (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in writing unit tests and following coding standards. (Non-negotiable)
Must have experience in writing/reading Technical Documentation. (Non-negotiable)
Must be amenable to work on development of scripts using automated tools, like cypress.io. (Non-negotiable)
