MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Medical technologists are qualified healthcare workers who assist medical professionals to diagnose, treat, and prevent diseases by analyzing biological samples. They prepare biological samples for testing, perform test procedures, and report their technical findings.
Responsibilities: Exhibit sound knowledge of laboratory procedures particularly those applicable to a primary laboratory.Perform serological, biochemical, hematological, and microbiological examinations on samples.Determine whether sample parameters fall within normal ranges and identify abnormalities.Analyze and summarize results and report findings in electronic format.Manage and monitor the inventory of laboratory stock and supplies.Maintain, monitor, and report calibration of laboratory equipment to maintain its optimal level and implement an effective preventive maintenance program.Adhere to best practices in medical laboratory sciences and keep up with advancements in the field.Provide good patient/client experience.Ensure smooth flow of service by communicating all necessary information to other departments.Adhere to company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
