Bachelor of Science Nursing Graduate with a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam) in Nursing.
Good oral and communication skills

**Job Description**:
Translate physician documented diagnoses and procedures into NUMERIC and/or ALPHANUMERIC diagnosis and procedure Codes that will be used primarily for facility and insurance reimbursement.
Assignment of these NUMERIC and/or ALPHANUMERIC codes will follow certain approved guidelines that are set by the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the American Medical Association.
(AMA)
Performs review of pre-assigned numeric and/or alphanumeric diagnosis and procedure codes to ensure compliance with the approved coding guidelines of both AHA and AMA.
Update skill and knowledge levels in accordance with the approved coding changes of AHA and AMA.
Comply with confidentiality standards and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations.
