Our client is seeking a Medical Billing and Collections Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in US medical billing and a strong understanding of insurance company processes. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Manage medical billing and collections processes, ensuring timely claims submission and payment.Navigate insurance company portals to follow up on claims, address denials, and handle appeals.Maintain and update records in Theralytics (EHR system) and Excel for accurate tracking and reporting.Collaborate with insurance companies and other stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.Ensure compliance with US healthcare regulations and billing standards.Handle additional administrative or billing-related tasks as assigned. Requirements Proven experience in US medical billing and familiarity with healthcare systems.Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Theralytics, or similar) and Excel for data tracking.Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.Experience with insurance company processes, including claims, portals, and appeals.Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
