Job Title: Mechanical Leadman/Foreman
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Supervisor
SUMMARY OF JOB:
The main duty of a Mechanical Leadman is to supervise all activities relating to the use of motors and generators of the new site.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Below are some, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities of a Mechanical Leadman:
Conducts visual evaluation of motors and generatorsDismantles and/or assembles motors and generatorsEvaluates worn out and missing parts of dismantled units for reporting to Production SupervisorConducts modifications to equipment if necessary to facilitate improvement and/or changes to the operation as directed by the supervisorPrepares mechanical checklist for submission to the production supervisorReconditions motors and generatorsSupervises mechanical crewConducts fabrication of special tools used in projectsChecks units prior to deliveryConducts tagging of all disassembled parts for easier identificationHandles location and preservation of disassembled parts of motors and generatorsAssist in promoting company's services to prospects and potential clientsQUALIFICATIONS:

At least graduate of high schoolHas at least 5 years of experience in the field of motors and generatorsKnowledgeable on the use of precision measuring tools (i.e. outside micrometer, inside micrometer, bore gauge, caliper, and dial gauge)Has acquired a background on drafting mechanical partsResourceful and critical-thinkerReliable and can work with minimal to no supervisionFlexible and willing to work beyond the working hoursWilling to be assigned on other areasCan easily follow instructions provided by the supervisorHas a good communication and interpersonal skill that can work well with othersFast learner and willing to be trained
