Job Title: Mechanical Leadman/ForemanDepartment: ProductionReports to: Production SupervisorSUMMARY OF JOB:The main duty of a Mechanical Lead man is to supervise all activities relating to the use ofmotors and generators of the new site.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Below are some, but not limited to, the duties and responsibilities of a Mechanical Leadman:1. Conducts visual evaluation of motors and generators2. Dismantles and/or assembles motors and generators3. Evaluates worn out and missing parts of dismantled units for reporting toProduction Supervisor4. Conducts modifications to equipment if necessary to facilitate improvement and/orchanges to the operation as directed by the supervisor5. Prepares mechanical checklist for submission to the production supervisor6. Reconditions motors and generators7. Supervises mechanical crew8. Conducts fabrication of special tools used in projects9. Checks units prior to delivery10. Conducts tagging of all disassembled parts for easier identification11. Handles location and preservation of disassembled parts of motors and generators12. Assist in promoting company's services to prospects and potential clientsQUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required.1. At least graduate of high school2. Has at least 5 years of experience in the field of motors and generators3. Knowledgeable on the use of precision measuring tools (i.e. outside micrometer,inside micrometer, bore gauge, caliper, and dial gauge)4. Has acquired a background on drafting mechanical parts5. Resourceful and critical-thinker6. Reliable and can work with minimal to no supervision7. Flexible and willing to work beyond the working hours8. Willing to be assigned on other areas9. Can easily follow instructions provided by the supervisor10. Has a good communication and interpersonal skill that can work well with others11. Fast learner and willing to be trained
