SUMMARYOF JOB: The main duty of a Mechanical Leadman is to supervise all activities relating to the use of motors and generatorsof the new site.
DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES: Below are some, but not limited to, the duties andresponsibilities of a Mechanical Lead man:
1. Conductsvisual evaluation of motors and generators
2. Dismantlesand/or assembles motors and generators
3. Evaluatesworn out and missing parts of dismantled units for reporting to ProductionSupervisor
4. Conductsmodifications to equipment if necessary to facilitate improvement and/orchanges to the operation as directed by the supervisor
5. Preparesmechanical checklist for submission to the production supervisor
6. Reconditionsmotors and generators
7. Supervisesmechanical crew
8. Conductsfabrication of special tools used in projects
9. Checksunits prior to delivery
10. Conductstagging of all disassembled parts for easier identification
11. Handleslocation and preservation of disassembled parts of motors and generators
12. Assistin promoting company's services to prospects and potential clients
QUALIFICATIONS: Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representativeof the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. Atleast graduate of high school
2. Has atleast 5 years of experience in the field of motors and generators
3. Knowledgeableon the use of precision measuring tools (i.e. outside micrometer, insidemicrometer, bore gauge, caliper, and dial gauge)
4. Hasacquired a background on drafting mechanical parts
5. Resourcefuland critical-thinker
6. Reliableand can work with minimal to no supervision
7. Flexible and willing to work beyond the workinghours
8. Willingto be assigned on other areas
9. Caneasily follow instructions provided by the supervisor
10.Has a goodcommunication and interpersonal skill that can work well with others
11. Fast learner and willing to be trained
