The Mechanical Engineer will join our multidisciplinary team of hardware developers. The successful candidate's main responsibilities involve a new product development cycle, encompassing initial design and prototyping of gaming machines. He/She will collaborate with fellow designers to explore alternatives and options for the further advancement of projects and products. The candidate will be tasked with responsibilities such as design, research, engineering documentation, estimation, and product enhancement.
Responsibilities
Develop prototypes and validate designs with the design team.Generate 3D data, part list and assembly drawings, to support manufacturing, testing, and assembly.Design parts, components, and assemblies to fulfill requirements of assigned projects.Prepare project schedules and estimated budgets.Investigate new materials and development methods relevant to the project.Record and analyze testing data, refine designs to meet safety, performance, and efficiency standards.Create essential engineering documents for machine mass production and design changes.Offer technical support during the assembly and disassembly of machines.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior, as they relate to the job title and description, on an as-needed basis.
Required Experience:
Must have a degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Mechatronics or related fields.
Licensed or unlicensed candidates are welcome.
5 to 7 years' experience
Proficient in Solid works 3D CAD software or equivalent design-related software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Has background and knowledge on metal fabrication, plastic molding/injection and or machine assembly.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrate a "hands-on" and "can-do" attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
