Mechanical Drafter | Solidworks Experience

Job Summary:  We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The Mechanical Drafter will play a crucial role in creating and updating mechanical drawings, material take-offs, and installation drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Create detailed mechanical drawings, including assembly drawings, part drawings, and layouts, using SolidWorks CAD software.Develop and update material take-offs and bill of materials (BOM) for mechanical components and assemblies.Generate installation drawings and documentation for mechanical systems and equipment.Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and translate them into accurate technical drawings.Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to optimize designs for manufacturability and functionality.Assist in resolving technical issues related to drawings during the production or installation phase.Maintain organized project files and documentation for version control and audit purposes.RequirementsRequirements/Skills Needed: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, focusing on mechanical drafting and design.Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software is essential.Strong attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings.Ability to interpret and translate complex design specifications into accurate drawings.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Additional Job Details: Set-up and Location: Office-based (Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu) Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Western Australia) | 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PH Time) Employment Type: Full-time All interviews and other hiring requirements are done virtually or through video calls or emails.
