We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer - Power Generation in Metro Manila/Seoul/Tokyo/Singapore with a background in power generation systems to join our APAC Project Engineering team. Competitive compensation packageAnnual bonus programIndustry-leading benefit plans.Continuous training and development with career growth opportunitiesSafety-focused cultureWhat you'll do: Work with APAC region engineers for accurate project application design.Ensure project designs adhere to quality, safety, environmental, and legislative standards.Advise Sales team on design issues and engineering solutions.Support Temperature Control projects (Chiller/Boiler/HVAC) from initial design to completion.Provide operational technical support and assist in proposal preparation.Support QHSE with Temperature Control related matters, including procedure documentation and incident investigation.You'll have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field: A strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, typically obtained through a bachelor's degree program.At Least 5 Years of Experience in Power Generation design: Hands-on experience working with diesel and gas generators, including installation, maintenance, and operational optimization.Proficiency in Refrigeration, Psychometrics, and Fluid Mechanics. Hands-on experience designing and maintaining refrigeration and HVAC systems, analyzing air properties, and optimizing fluid systems.Experience in Pressure Vessel, Piping, and Gas System Design and Standards. Familiarity with ASME codes and other relevant standards for the design and safety of pressure vessels and piping systems. Practical experience designing pressure vessels and gas systems, including materials selection, stress analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.AutoCAD Skills for Creating and Modifying Technical Drawing. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, typically gained through specialized training or courseworkExpertise in Equipment Sizing for Engines, Generators, and Ancillary Systems.
