**Job Qualifications**:
- A degree holder in Industrial Engineering and/or a holder of any relevant
- Supply chain education course or degree programs
- With related experience of materials planning and production planning ideally in the
- automotive or manufacturing environment is a must
- Knowledgeable in supply chain waste elimination,
- Familiar with fast consuming products operations, sales forecast, product distribution and initiative process
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies
- Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving skills, and negotiation skills.
- Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software/programs as opportunities or department needs arise.
- Exhibit & encourage sense of urgency.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and primary responsibilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, colleagues, suppliers, and customers.

- Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
- Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
- Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
- Resolve capacity issues by prioritized scheduling and suggestions.
- Update production tracking and reporting reports.
- Analyze changing material demand patterns.
- Determine, research and correct material inventory discrepancy causes.
- Ensure the steady flow of materials necessary for operating a manufacturing line.
- Plan and verify incoming and outgoing shipments and fully understand the process of preparing and receiving shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
- Support inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy.
- Minimize obsolete stock.
- Support assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with members of the purchasing team
