Material Planner

We're looking for a Material Planner who can help us optimize our inventory and production process. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be familiar with MRP/ERP systems. They will be able to identify opportunities for improvement and work with the team to implement changes.Material Planner Responsibilities:Research and analyze suppliers, products, and plans to identify cost and logistics issuesCoordinate with relevant departments and suppliers, and make recommendations for improvementCreate and update vendor and material lists, and update database with product specs and quantitiesMaintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials) in all systemsAssign, monitor, and delegate materials-related workConduct inventory counts as neededDetermine material needs for projects and oversee their procurementUpdate inventory and procurement systemsAssist in various training and orientation programsAssist with safety programs and protocolsPerform special projects as assigned
