Market Data Oversight Team LeadJob Descriptiono Support MDO in recruiting, training, and upskilling the new Market Data operations teamo Support MDO in the transition of all operational tasksfrom existing resourcesto the new Market Data operationsteamo Build out and maintain an operational calendar outlining keys deliverables and ensuring a timely delivery basedon expected SLAso Review operational due diligence and metricsreportsregularly to understand expected workloads or aging itemsthen plan accordinglyo Host weekly meetings with MDO to provide update on all deliverables and address any issues that may ariseo Establish maker/checker processto reviewand approve all information that impacts externalsystems and partieso Establish standard communication templates for recurrent interactions with internal stakeholders and ourvendorso Work to build personal development plans for each operations analyst and partner with MDO to help get themthe education and training needed to achieve their goalso Develop and plan team building eventsfor the operations team locally and virtually with MDO? Team Lead:o Establish and execute the processes and procedureso Establish and manage the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)o Monitor and evaluate all processes and implement improvement to ensure clientsreceive appropriate and high-quality services as committedo Perform daily and monthly auditing of work processeso Monitor and assist team membersin the daily operation aspects of the project including reviewing the status andperformance against targets, performing root cause analysis of variances and making improvementsto meet thetargetso Coach, guide and train team members by providing excellent serviceo Provide assistance to team members in accordance with established practices and procedureso Provide reports as agreed with Cliento Assist in hiring, selection and training of new team members update ledgers, data, and reportsRequirementso Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financialo Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business courseo The candidate must have a basic understanding of Accounting & Financialo Markets. Background in Information Technology is preferred but not required.o The ideal candidate should have an understanding of financial productsincluding global equities, futures,swaps,options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income.o Strong background in accounting systems, cost management, AP and FP&Ao 7+ years related experience, experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be anadvantageo 3+ years'supervisory experience over a professional accounting teamo Through your prior work experience, you have demonstrated the ability to manage people and deliver tangibleresultso You are passionate about the people you manage and will work diligently to help them achieve their personaldevelopment goalso You are detail-oriented, have strong relationship-building skills, and can articulate messages to a variety ofaudienceso You are transparent and comfortable communicating issues openly and directlyo Experience working with an onshore management team is preferableo Asset management industry knowledge a pluso CPA certification preferred
