Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Marketing officer to support our marketing team with various administrative and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves data entry, pricing comparisons, maintaining website content, and assisting with various marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities: Data Entry: Maintain and update internal pricing sheets. Enter pricing information manually from pricing sheets into the system with high accuracy. Maintain and update manual marketing forms, including the discontinued products list and new items list. Add and update marketing resources on the website, ensuring easy access for internal and external users. Optimise website content by incorporating relevant keywords and organising content into appropriate categories. Monitor and update as needed. Regularly check the website for discontinued products and update listings accordingly. Maintain and update lists for sample kits and other promotional materials. Assist with recording marketing budget spend and catalogue orders in debtor notes. Maintain records of loyalty levels in master file notes. Maintain and update website content, including product details, descriptions, line drawings, packaging information, and colour options. Pricing Comparison: Gather and collate competitor pricing information. Prepare comparison sheets to assist in strategic pricing decisions. Social Media Copy: Write and edit copy for both internal and external social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing strategy. Website Copy: Assist in creating, editing, and maintaining copy for website pages to enhance user experience and SEO. Data Mining: Conduct data mining to identify popular items across different industries, providing valuable insights for marketing and sales strategies. New Items Entry: Enter new product information onto the website, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, including line drawings, packaging, colours, and other relevant details. Customer Loyalty Send Customer First Order email and document in Debtor Notes Monitor Customer Loyalty Level Ups Customer of the Week – email notification and document in Debtor NotesQualifications: Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Experience with data entry and data management. Basic understanding of website maintenance. Good writing skills for creating social media and website copy. Ability to gather and analyse data for pricing comparisons and marketing strategies. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
