We are looking for our next Marine HR Administrative Coordinator The position oversees monitoring of the marine insurance claims of all seafarers and supports administrative service activities. It is responsible for attending to special projects as required and serving as the backup to the training coordinator.
Some of the things you'll be doing Coordinates with Health care providers regarding addition and deletion of seafarers and dependents. Responsible and assist medical repatriated seafarers. Responsible for marine insurance reports for legal, claims, and medicals and proactively submitted them to Marine HR business partners. Visits seafarers in hospitals as a representative of the company. Ensures that costs are tracked and charged to Crew Medical Claims allocated budget. Prepares report and cash Settlement as advised by the club and insurance team. Attending negotiation, settlement, and legal matters as advised. Represent the company as required by the court and coordinate with local legal representatives. Responsible and proactive for the draft, negotiations, and renewal of CBAs. Point of contact person for the Department of Migrant Workers, Local Correspondent, Marine Insurance Team, Insurance Club, Union, and local courts. Prepare and issue Phil health and SSS documents and certificates to the seafarers. Responsible for ordering seafarers' service awards and distribution. Responsible for the requisitions of office supplies. Arrange US visa documentation and issue sea service letters. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned as required. What we are looking for Bachelor's degree and preferably, Psychology, Business Administration, or Communication is preferred. Understanding of coordination for medical repatriation and legal cases. Ability to create and prompt submission of technical and administrative reports. Attention to detail with good oral, written, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to respond positively to customers in an effective manner. Shipping industry experience is an advantage.
