Position Overview
RecruitGo is in search of a Manual Tester who will be working with our client based in Australia. Our client is the dental software industry. In this role, you will be responsible for Managing test plans, execution, and reporting; analyzing results; escalating issues; coordinating with developers and support teams; aligning schedules; assisting with user acceptance testing; and troubleshooting complex issues.
Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who possesses strong written and fluent verbal English communication skills, a strong work ethic, and high attention to detail. They should also have a friendly and positive manner and be adept at establishing rapport with customers.
Responsibilities: Preparing and managing Test plans, Test scenarios, Test Data and Reporting Participating and managing Test execution Analysing and presenting test results to key stakeholders issues to Development managers Liaising with Developers and Support Team to clarify issues and resolve problems Aligning test schedule to overall Project's schedule Co-ordinating or Assisting teams during User Acceptance Testing Test Documentation creation and management Supporting customers with troubleshooting technically complex issues Qualifications Bachelor's or College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. At least two (2) years of System Integration Testing, Regression, and Business Process testing Strong written and fluent verbal English communication skills Strong work ethic and a high attention to detail Friendly, positive manner, and great at establishing rapport with customers Technology Requirements: A dedicated quiet workspace at home Good internet connection (minimum 20mbs) and mobile data backup A desktop or laptop computer (9th generation or higher) with at least i5 or equivalent processor with at least 8 GB RAM and Windows 10 and above or MAX OSX operating system A headset with an extended microphone and a noise-canceling headset is a must.
