In your new role you will: Carrying out assigned audits + decide how best to schedule projects, allocate audit resources, Developing audit engagement scope, preliminary survey, development of audit program in alignment with function head.
Performing the audit: field-work, reviewing existing information, analyzing data, interviewing individuals involved, testing, evaluating adequacy of internal controls and processes, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies + procedures, documenting results.
Performing data analytics and interpret predefined data sets relating to the processes being reviewed.
Deciding how best to respond clients and monitor output to deliver increasing quality and pace over time, preparing audit reports reflecting the results of work performed + communicating results to stakeholders, developing AA with consideration of their effects on business processes.
Demonstrate knowledge of Internal Audit Methodology by participating in every audit phase, including planning, fieldwork and reporting (e.g., International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (CoBIT)).
Demonstrate an awareness of the business unit activities under audit.
You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor degree (Business Administration) or equivalent knowledge/experience.
Certification as CIA, CISSP or similar would be a plus.
At least 3 years of experience as a technology auditor covering IT application and general controls, application development, SQA, information security, technology consulting or other relevant industry experience.
Sound knowledge in Project management, Software development lifecycle, R&D, awareness of laws and regulations applicable in the area of technology and cyber security.
