Who are we looking for: As a General Accounting Manager, you are expected to assist in overseeing the accounting cycle and reporting functions of the organization. You will manage a team of accountants and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards, and coordination with other departments.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards.Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management.Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team meets deadlines.Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate and organized financial records.Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.Review journal entries and ensure proper documentation.Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounting department.Recommend and implement changes to streamline financial processes.Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and make recommendations for tax optimization.What does it take to be part of the team?
