Role Overview
The General Accounting Manager(Other Geographies) will be responsible for
managing the business operations of the assigned team, working on key Finance
initiatives, providing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial
research, guiding leadership in making sound business decisions in the short and
long term and other ad hoc responsibilities including people management and
development.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Overall in charge of month-end closing activities and financial reporting (P&L,
Balance Sheet and Cash flow).
? Ensures timely completion of month-end activities
? Reviews the following:
? Revenue accrual and ensure accuracy
? Trend Analysis
? Cash flow statement
? Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
? Reports the Final P&L, Cash Flow Statement
? Team and People Management:
? Point of escalation for GA team
? Recommends fit for purpose trainings to team members
? Timely feedback, coaching and mentoring (as needed)
? Develop team members to align and reach company and their
individual goals
? Others
? Implement SLAs and KPIs for the team and reporting KPIs for the
overall company.
? Provide significant support in finance-wide projects, including, but not
limited to, process automations and system enhancements
? Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any errors and/or issues
encountered and propose appropriate solutions
Work with different teams in finance in understanding end to end
processes as needed for process improvement/system enhancements
? Develop internal controls to avoid risks
? Perform tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Competencies
? Strong organizational and decision making skills

? Strong knowledge of different accounting standards (GAAP and PFRS)
? Proficiency with excel/Google sheet formulas and functions and Google Slides
? Excellent communication skills in dealing with external and internal stakeholders
? Knowledge/experience in accounting system
? Well-organized and detail-oriented
Relevant Experience Required 5+ years of experience in the related field (accounting or financial reporting) Preferably with experience or familiar with Quickbooks or related Accounting System Educational and Certification Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or any Business course.
