Job Description:
As a Major Account Executive, you will be a regional expert in acquisition sales. You will be on-boarding new clients as well as managing existing accounts. Success will be clearly defined and there will be room for creativity to achieve your targets.
Mandatory Skillset:
Having minimum 5-years experience and good track record in selling cybersecurity products/services to large enterprises, BFSI, Philippines conglomerates.
Candidate must be Philippines citizen
As a Major Account Executive- New Business Acquisition, you will be responsible for:
Partnering with sales engineers, internal support resources and channel partners to ensure consultative engagement with prospects.
Recording customer development activities within a CRM to ensure operational excellence.
Planning and executing on new customer acquisition within territory expertise.
Communicating effectively with all levels of prospective buyers and internally at Akamai
Acting as the primary, trusted point of contact to key customer stakeholders, building relationship and customer success.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
Demonstrate successful sales experience in new business acquisition.
Have some experience selling hardware, software, or cloud computing solutions.
Have a proven track record in over-achieving quarterly/annual quotas with enterprise level targets.
Have high ethics, integrity, and be very self-motivated.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
Job Title: Major Account Executive
Location (s): Ho Chin Minh City, Vietnam / Manila, Philippines / Remote
Project Duration: Long term Contract (12 months with possibility of extension)
Languages: Local and English
Working hours: 8/9 hours in day for Vietnam and Philippines (May exceed as per business requirement)
Interview: 2 rounds of technical interview-webex Video (If HM is locally available so he can take in-person)
