Logistics Supervisor (Wingers Unlimited / New York Buffalo Brads)

 

Responsibilities:
Respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to internal/external customers

Timely pickup and delivery of shipments

Review and prepare purchase orders

Answer queries in consultation with immediate superior, resolve routine matters, and respond to minor problems and complaints from clients

Responsible for the accuracy of physical inventory with the system

Monitor and report to immediate head esp. for Store operations related items on slow moving and non-moving items

Ensure that finished goods, warehouse and equipment are always clean and free from obstruction

Ensure that warehouse maintains ideal buffer level to ensure availability of stocks at all times

Ensure all items returned to warehouse is complete with corresponding documents and encoded

Ensure all transfer from production is complete and with corresponding documentsPrepare weekly report on finished goods with critical inventory

Participates in monthly and annual inventory

Qualification

Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration or any related course.

At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in a customs brokerage, logistics or freight forwarding company

At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the field

Willingness to work extended hours including fieldwork

Customer oriented & team player

Proficient in spoken and written English

With relevant logistics and safety-related trainings and/or experience

Proficient in standard logistics processes and system.

Adept at problem-solving, highly-organized and keen on details

With effective people management skills

Effective reporting and communication skills; both oral and written (MS Office
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
