Overseeing the logistics and transportation of materials, ensuring timely delivery, and managing warehouse operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Coordinate the loading of trucks, delivery route planning, and ensuring efficient offloading procedures.
-Maintain and oversee all documentation and processes related to logistics operations.
-Supervise the shipping, delivery, and unloading of materials.
-Manage inventory levels and communicate with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
-Propose and implement corrective actions to improve logistics efficiency and resolve transport-related problems.
-Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, haulers, and packers to ensure cost-effective and efficient logistics operations.
-Monitor shipments to ensure timely dispatch, especially through transshipment points, while tracking ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).
-Ensure compliance with PEZA, Customs, and other legal requirements, including preparing necessary forms (8106, 8105, CEWE, etc.).
-File duties, taxes, and PEZA processing fees on time and ensure the proper liquidation of all forms and bonds.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
-With 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
-With 2 years in a supervisory role.
-Familiarity with PEZA regulations, Customs processes, and international shipping/documentation standards is essential.
-Familiarity with 3PL contract negotiation and cost reduction strategies.
-Knowledge of import/export procedures, forms (e.g., 8105, 8106, CEWE), and government filing requirements.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and government agencies.
-Willingness to work in Malvar, Batangas.
