The **Logistics Assistant **supports the purchasing process through maintaining purchasing tools and data, preparing the negotiation process.
In charge of insuring the supplier follow-up, and may be responsible by delegation for purchasing activity for a given portfolio or for an entity and with a limited impact.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Responsible in canvassing and negotiating with all local suppliers and processing purchase order.
- Coordination with all local suppliers.
- Provide price quotation with pre-set standard margin within the committed SLA.
- Prepare/Process PO thru Kanzen & Manual ordering thru Excel format and send copies to suppliers and to requisitioning department.
- Respond to internal customer and supplier inquiries about demo, order status, changes, or cancellations, missed or late deliveries and other problems.
- Review requisition orders to verify unfamiliar products, terminology and specifications by the use of internet in searching the qualified, right suppliers and for the right pricing.
- Track the status of orders and monitor until arrive.
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationship with colleagues and management.
Ensures applicable Logistics systems and data are maintained and updated.
**CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY**
- Maintain good working relationship within the organization.
- Support Logistics and Sales Dept.
in achieving the objectives.
- Maintain good working relationship to respective suppliers.
- Deliver service in line with agreed controls, procedures and SLA.
- Strive for high level customer service.
**Qualifications**:
- Must be graduate of any Bachelor's Degree Course
- Must have at least 1 year relevant experience
- Must be willing to work onsite and in Makati City
- Familiarity with MS Tools and Application, CRM
- Can start ASAP
