1. Coordinate Importation Process: Assist in preparing and processing import documentation, including purchase orders, shipping documents, customs declarations, and import permits.Collaborate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and other relevant parties to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of goods.Monitor shipment schedules and communicate any delays or issues to the concerned teams or individuals.Maintain and update importation records and databases. 2. Customs and Compliance: Work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliance with all import regulations and requirements.Liaise with relevant government agencies and authorities to obtain necessary permits and certifications.Stay up-to-date with changes in import/export laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments in the importation process. 3. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and avoid shortages or surplus.Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to facilitate efficient stock management and timely replenishment.Manage and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records. 4. Supplier and Vendor Relationship: Foster and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for importation, including shipping costs, delivery schedules, and payment terms.Constantly evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
