The Logistics and Warehouse Manager will manage the logistics and warehouse facility operations. The goal is to manage the entire cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day workflow of the logistics facility Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets; maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements Develop the logistics facility to provide a variety of services including warehousing, distribution, service transportation, materials management, and fulfillment services Gather needed information on and understand customer demands; meet specific needs for transloading, just-in-time shipping, inventory management, distribution, and fulfillment. Build and maintain relations with customers to identify opportunities for new services and further expansion of the logistics facility Identify problems and inefficiencies in logistics processes; present and implement enhancements and solutions to address these issues Maintain current knowledge of logistics and technology developments and trends; recommend and implement improvements based on this knowledge to provide more efficient service to customers Perform other tasks as deemed necessary Develop, implement, and monitor systems and practices across the business operations May be involved in Production or Commissary management, demand and capacity planning, supply chain management, inventory counts, warehouse management, and other operational functions Acts as a bridge to help ground and fit systems coming from management and uses feedback from branches/commissary to influence systems and policies Routinely visits and does Quantitative and Qualitative evaluations of the production areas and procedures Ensuring coordination with other departments in the company for the production facility/commissary (utilities, construction, equipment, sanitation, etc.) Must be aware of the guidelines and principles of food safety and sanitation; frequently review and assess all policies to ensure employees maintain a safe and hygienic environment as well as full compliance Conduct data-driven analysis that fuels production, warehousing, and overall operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
