Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and preparing all the necessary documents as required in the Letter of Credit and other payment terms related to shipping transactions, with the objective of contributing to the progress and profitability of the firm within professional and compliance guidelines.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Arrange and monitor orders and shipment status.
• Prepare shipping instructions based on customer's requirements and letter of credit and send shipping instructions to supplier and/or third-party logistics provider.
• Wholesale trading and logistics transaction processing such as but not limited to preparing shipping instructions, invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists and other beneficiary certificates and documents as called by the letters of credit.
• Review and check the contents of the letters of credit of clients and compare them with the shipping documents to determine if they are in order or if there are discrepancies.
• Check Bill of Lading and other related shipping documents and send to supplier and/or third party logistics provider.
• Prepare insurance for CIF shipments.
• Upload the shipping documents in the online image filing system of clients. Qualifications Requirement Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree of any Business Courses, Customs Administration, Logistics and Supply Management.
• With at least six (6) months experience in a shipping business or logistics firm.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in Letter of Credit, Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (UCP 600), and Uniform Role of Collections (URC 522).
