Legal Head

Background in finance or banking is preferred

Overview: The Legal Head will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters within the organization, This role involves providing strategic legal advice, ensuringns compliance with laws and regulations, and managing legal risks.
CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE:
Oversee corporate governance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
LEGAL ADVISORY:
Provide expert legal advise to the executive team and other departments
Advise on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:
Draft,review,and negotiate various commercial contracys and agreements.
Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards
LITIGATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes.
Work external legal counsel as needed,
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
protect and manage the bank's intellectual property assets.
Ensure compliance with intellectual property laws and regulations
TEAM LEADERSHIP:
Lead and mentor the legal team (Paralegal and KYB Officer)
Foster a colaborative and high performance work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a full-pledged lawyer admitted to the Philippine Bar
8-12 years of experience in legal roles, preferably in the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate law, regulatory compliance, and commercialcontracts.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
