# Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of legal issues, including tax issues, business models, employment issues, marketing issues, and day-to-day corporate activities.
- Drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and related documents for the procurement or provision of goods and services.
- Negotiate, review, and draft the company's B2B contracts.
- Update and maintain the Company's legal documents and templates.
- Prepare legal strategies and solutions, often in situations of high risk with limited time for assessing alternatives.
- Analyze a broad range of local and international laws and regulations in relation to the blockchain industry.
- Engage outside counsel on complex legal issues, and supervise and coordinate all work sent to external law firms.
- Assist in account fraud handling.
- Review marketing materials.
- Work closely with various departments in relation to reviewing business practices / corporate structures, developing and maintaining compliance controls, training and investigations.
- Oversee and manage company secretary responsibilities, which includes matters relating to the Board of Directors, Management Committee, and corporate governance.
- Actively participating in appropriate executive, leadership, and / or operating committees.
# Qualifications
- Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
- 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in working in-house or with a reputable law firm
- Experience in fintech is an advantage
- Experience handling contract reviews, drafting and negotiation
- Experience handling employment and litigation matters
- Experience handling corporate secretarial matters
- Excellent drafting and organizational skills
- Ability to analyse complex legal problems quickly and concisely without direct supervision
- Ability to exercise good judgment even in ambiguous situations
