Work you'll do A Legal Assistant Manager is expected to have knowledge of the basic Tax and Corporate Law in order to assist clients in registering, dissolving and/or restructuring a legal entity in the Philippines.S/he is also expected to understand corporate transactions and structure in order to render tax and legal advice, engage in discussion with government officers in matters and issues affecting client requirements.S/he will also prepare letters, protests, memoranda, position papers and other similar written work supported by tax and corporate laws, rules and regulations.A Legal Assistant Manager must be skilled in managing multiple engagements at the same time without compromising deadlines for the deliverables to meet client expectations.As a client-facing role, the Legal Assistant Manager must be comfortable in communicating with clients of different nationalities and able to explain the complexities of the law in a manner that can be easily understood by non-lawyers.Your role as a leader At Deloitte, we believe in the importance of empowering our people to be leaders at all levels.
