Legal Assistant

**Job Summary**:
The Legal Associate shall assist the Legal & Compliance Head including the assigned supervising Lawyer and perform the functions and responsibilities of a lawyer and shall handle custody and monitoring of the documents of the department and such other functions as may be related and determined by the Company Lawyers.
The Legal Associate shall act as a lawyer and represent the Legal and Compliance Head and/or any of its lawyers in any meetings/hearings when the company lawyer is not present.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1.
Assist lawyers in the preparation and consolidation of requirements necessary for submission to regulatory bodies/government agencies.
2.
Draft/edit/proof read correspondences, reports, legal briefers, contracts and other forms or written materials as may be requested by the lawyers.
3.
Do legal research.
4.
Document handling and organization, record keeping and tagging.
5.
Perform field work such as filings of reports and forms with government agencies and/or regulatory bodies.
6.
Custodian of the Department's petty cash and be responsible for disbursement, proper liquidation, and replenishment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Political Science, Legal Management or equivalent

Graduate of law and has taken the bar and awaiting for the results.
