About OricaAbout the roleWe are seeking a dynamic Lead – Risk Management to join our Manila team in a rare and exciting opportunity at Orica. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Orica's global regions and business functions to drive key risk management initiatives and develop innovative methodologies to manage critical risks.
As a leader in this highly visible position, you will oversee the design, execution, and delivery of the enterprise-wide risk management program, including facilitating risk assessments across the organization. The effective management of these risks is critical to preserving Orica's reputation for integrity and our position as a trusted partner of choice for our customers.

What you will be doing Lead the implementation of enterprise governance frameworks, standards, and practices across Orica. Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships, serving as a trusted risk advisor. Implement processes to assess and/or monitor the effectiveness of risk governance and adherence to standards . Act as a subject matter expert on Risk Management and enhance organizational capability. Implement consistent approaches to risk governance and control activities. Proactively identify and manage risks for key projects and initiatives. Conduct ad-hoc risk analysis and reviews as requested by the business. Develop guidance for managing risks and identifying improvement opportunities. Support the development of risk reporting for Senior Management, the Board, and Sub-Committees. Monitor progress in managing material risks, key controls, and action plans. Leverage data to enhance risk management practices at Orica. Develop and lead training and communication programs to raise risk awareness across the organization. What you will bring 5+ years risk management experience in a relevant industry, large multinational organisation, or the consulting sector. Familiarity with ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard. Relevant tertiary qualification in in business, commerce, engineering, or the mining industry is desirable. Ability to influence and liaise with all business levels, including senior stakeholders. Proven experience working with a variety of stakeholders and the ability to facilitate risk assessments. while effectively navigating challenges with diverse groups. Strong report writing and presentation skills. Proven team player with a track record of collaboration across diverse project teams. Ability to build constructive partnerships in various situations. Skill in driving improvements through innovation and strategic collaboration. Strong technical and analytical skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment. Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization platforms is desirable. What we offer
