LEAD GAME ENGINEER (SENIOR GAME SYSTEM ENGINEER)
We're in the market for a veteran game engineer (SENIOR GAME SYSTEMS ENGINEER) to be the principal engineer for our Muntinlupa studio. As a skilled and self-motivated programmer who loves creative, collaborative environments, you will handle the end-to-end engineering required to build and ship a console/PC game.
Work Location: Muntinlupa
(Hybrid work set up will depend on the applicants qualifications)
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
QUALIFICATIONS: Age: 20 to 40 years oldHas Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field. RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Architect and implement complex in-game features for an existing game in development.
? Ensure the performance of the game by: reducing memory usageefficient asset managementimproving load timesimproving rendering performance Assistance with implementation of art, animation, audio, and VFX.Collaborate with the designer to iterate on existing features to further improve gameplay.Write unity editor extensions as needed.Contribute any visual improvement to the game, such as shaders, post-processing effects, etc.Study and research new trends that are emerging in new games and identify those that can be used to improve our own games.Update unity asset store assets we use, and identify useful features for each update.Research new assets in the unity asset store that we can use to save time on development.Research and implement any required frameworks and perform any work related to certification for specific platforms (Nintendo, Steam, etc.)Maintain a library of game agnostic code and features we can use for future projects. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of game industry experienceAbility to build and lead a small engineering teamCredited on at least two commercial games from start to finishA wizard at using Unity, C#, and familiarity with common pluginsA natural knack for building good game architectureExperience in multiple aspects of game programming such as tools, gameplay, AI, performance, UI, and graphicsAble to manage self and work totally unsupervisedGame enthusiast stays up to date on trends PLUSSES:
