About the role
We are extremely excited to announce that we are inviting applications for a Lead - Facilities Management role to be based in our GBS Manila office with a flexible working setup.
This Lead - Facilities Management oversees the management of office facilities for Orica GBS (Global Business Services), which includes leading the facilities team and contractors, managing the budget, handling facilities procurement and vendor relationships, as well as addressing safety and compliance requirements and maintaining the landlord relationship.
What you will be doing
The Lead - Facilities Management role involves comprehensive management of office accommodation and the Facilities team, overseeing various contractors such as security personnel, cleaning staff, and medical teams. This role is responsible for the office facilities budget, seeking cost-saving opportunities each financial year while ensuring that supplier contracts meet standards for quality and compliance. There will also be regular site audits and documentation of processes are essential to maintain safety and efficiency. The lead fosters effective relationships with landlords and stakeholders to create a safe and productive work environment.
In addition to managing day-to-day facilities operations, the role includes overseeing construction and refurbishment projects while providing exceptional service to tenants. The Lead - Facilities Management collaborates with key contacts to standardize facilities management practices across Orica's major offices and ensures adherence to safety standards and legislative requirements. By working closely with risk and compliance teams, the lead contributes to major office projects and supports the safety of employees, ensuring that all decisions align with Orica's SHES Group Standards.
What you will bringBachelor's degree in a related field, complemented by 6-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in facilities management.Proven track record in formal management or team leadership roles, demonstrating the ability to build a collaborative team environment and guide workstream direction.Strong influencing skills with experience managing processes across diverse stakeholder groups.Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives and optimizing operational efficiencies.Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost-saving strategies.Recognized for high ethical standards, integrity, and a strong personal value system.Open to feedback and committed to personal and professional growth.Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and accountability.Strong decision-making abilities and advanced problem-solving skills.Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure to meet deadlines.What we offer
