Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering leader to play a key role in our team focusing on onboarding our strategic clients. This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you will work closely with a people manager, driving the technical direction of our integration efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation to ensure our integration technology is robust and scalable, effectively supporting our ambitious growth pipeline.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of integrations, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.Own the Engineering Excellence of the integration practice by mentoring and elevating engineers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and technical solutions. Support the hiring process to build a high-performing team.Contribute directly to the codebase, primarily in Python and Golang, while also providing technical leadership and oversight.Develop and maintain processes that drive efficiency and positive outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.Wear multiple hats as needed to support the team and drive for results.Leverage your expertise in AWS to architect and maintain cloud-based solutions that meet the demands of our integrations.Qualifications: 5+ years of technical leadership experience, with a proven track record of leading successful engineering teams.Proficiency in Python and strong experience with Golang. Deep understanding of building and maintaining integrations.Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in hiring, coaching, and mentoring engineers, with a passion for helping others grow and succeed.Strong proficiency in AWS, with experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure.Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and aligned engineering culture.Nice to Have: Previous experience in payments or fintech is a plus.Experience with Dagster, or similar orchestration tools.If you possess the required skills and are eager to contribute to our team's success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Lead Engineer.
