In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impactAct as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional areaMonitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategiesMonitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional areaDevelop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controlsCollaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategiesLead Control Management project or virtual teams Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track-record for delivering resultsExperience working in a matrixed environment and the ability to effectively manage and build relationshipsExperience in automation / advanced excel / reporting will be an advantageExperience in data automation along with advanced excel and report generation skillsRisk management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive improvements.Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to identify risks and confidently raise issues, escalate early, doing so independently when necessaryExperience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 6+ years must include direct experience in risk management demonstrated through work or military experienceEffective communicator (strong listening and communications skills), both orally and in writing, able to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, good listener who engenders creative thinking and teamwork along with strong presentation skillsExpert-level knowledge of industry standards and best practices around monitoring, testing, quality assurance, risk management, and management reporting processesQA / QC, Audit, or roles with review-based activity experience and familiar with various quality assurance techniquesRisk management experience with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive improvementsExtensive experience designing and executing risk assessment, control testing / QA / QC programs, including the development of consistent standards and methodologiesSkilled on Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track-record for delivering resultsDemonstrated ability to deliver high quality output from self and team Job Expectations: Mid Shift ScheduleWeekends OffFollows PH HolidaysCurrently on Hybrid Set Up (3/week onsite); with possibility of moving back onsite full time in the future
