Lead Auditor

Oversee existing internal financial controls, processes, and practices and implement enhancements to existing accounting policies and finance processes to ensure they are adequate, functional, and utilized following the standards established by IFRS and regulatory bodies.
Assist the Financial Controller in developing an annual audit plan.
Work and liaise with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing of audit issues and other financial audit activities.
Analyze the technical reporting standards, treatments, and estimates in compliance with IFRS.
Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of cross-border compliance strategies, standard policies, and procedures, including transfer pricing plans, fundraising activities, and other international-related requirements.
Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
Ensure adherence, monitor, remediate, and align compliance responsibilities with stakeholders.
Explore and identify strategic growth opportunities internationally that will aid global market expansion.
Manage and review contracts and engagements, including management and governance arrangements and other commercial terms, to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
Develop the audit plan, including determining the audit objectives, scope, and criteria with the audit client.
Communicate the audit plan to the audit team as well as the audit client.
