Develop, maintain, and enhance Business Intelligence solutions including database systems, data warehouses, SQL server reporting services, Oracle business Intelligence tools, and other BI systems as appropriate.Problem solve and debug complex Business Intelligence systems, including database systems and Data Warehouse to allow defect analysis and fixing.Conduct research and attend training for current and emerging business intelligence technologies in support of reporting needs.Work within existing standards and procedures governing software development, change management, and documentation.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, training sessions, and reviewing professional publications.Identify customer needs through communication and probing.Create solutions to customer problems, provide sound recommendations to their queries, and ensure resolution the first time.Assist customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication, and closure of issues.Complete workload on time and monitor if transactions are processed in a timely manner.Implement error-proofing methods to ensure all transactions are done accurately.Participate in conference calls, meetings, and discussions with customers.Adhere to shift schedules and attendance expectations to ensure consistent support to customers and a balanced workload for peers.Coordinate with other teams/support to complete customer requests.Monitor team service levels and assist in workload distribution.Conduct team/functional/business overview presentations during counterpart visits as required by team lead/supervisor.Assist colleagues in answering general escalations from customers.Handle specialized queries from customers.Record and submit periodic and/or quarterly transaction records, log sheets, and/or trackers.Plan, execute, and manage own workload and projects in cooperation with line leaders.Assist in leading team meetings, huddles, and information cascades. Communicate with the team on best practices, lessons learned, process, and product updates during team huddles/meetings.Manage team common mailboxes and delegate tasks to colleagues.Gather data, analyze trends, generate, and submit reports to line leaders with recommendations.Use effective communication tools like flow charts, process flows, diagrams, etc., to effectively communicate products and processes, convey information, and respond to queries/requests coming from different levels. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Business Management, Computer Science, or related majors.3+ years' experience in Business Intelligence Analysis/Development.Work experience in database and analytics programming, data warehousing, preferably in an environment using multiple databases or data sources.Ability to write basic SQL scripts, preferably in T-SQL language, and understand complex queries.2+ years of hands-on experience in the following technologies and demonstrated understanding of the following technologies: SQL Server Management Studio, Business Intelligence Tools such as SSRS or PowerBI.Experience in maintaining or enhancing Business Intelligence reports such as SSRS and PowerBI.1+ years' experience in scripting, ETL solutions using one of the following (SSIS, SQL Server, and Power Query).Strong analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear technical execution.Skill at translating requirements into clean, efficient, and quality code.Desire to learn and grow competencies.Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
