Kitchen Helper/ All Around Staff

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a versatile and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper and All-Around Staff Member for our restaurant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness in both the kitchen and dining areas, and providing support in other areas of the restaurant operation as needed.

Responsibilities:

Assist the chef in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients for cooking.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using the dishwasher or by hand.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and countertops, and ensuring availability of clean utensils and condiments.
Monitor and replenish kitchen and restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, checking for accuracy and proper storage according to food safety standards.
Help in setting up and arranging the dining area for service, including setting tables and chairs, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Provide support to other staff members as needed, including assisting with customer orders, delivering food to tables, and handling customer inquiries or requests.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.
Assist in other ad hoc tasks and duties assigned by the manager or supervisor to support the overall operation of the restaurant.
