4.1 Market Intelligence: Implement a structured approach to regularly collect and update consumer/shopper/customer insights for defined priority channels.
4.2 Channel Activation:
4.2.1 Own commercial activation business case for the on-trade
4.2.2 Put commercial activation into solid critical path & channel one plan, align execution plans/steps, track and evaluate the activation.
4.2.3 Build Outlet programs and JBP

4.3 Channel Strategy: Formalize and regularly review a Channel Strategy with clear definitions of Priority Channels and clear Strategies to win.
4.4 Continuous Improvement Cycle: Embed continuous improvement cycle and own Internal Process Management to organize commercial plan gate keeping.
4.5 Data Driven Sales: Use data driven sales methodology to drive efficient and effective sales decisions.
4.6 Cross Functional Collaboration > Extensive cross-functional collaboration including with field sales, brand marketing and finance to bring a balanced volume, portfolio, branding and consumer experience approach to defend mainstream and accelerate premium growth in on-trade in a targeted and scalable manner
4.7 Execution: Should be in line with the Execution Strategy as cascaded by the Key Brands of the company He/She is assigned to.
4.8 The KAM will also play an integral role in crafting consumer-centric plans in his/her assigned area/s
