- Department: Commercial- Location: Philippines- The Key Account Manager drives the overall growth of his/her assigned sub-categories under the Beauty Category.
He/she will be responsible for sub-category strategic planning, account management of the identified key accounts, sales analysis, strategic alignment with LazMall and coordination with other departments such as business development, operations, marketing and finance.
- Category Knowledge- Must familiarize himself/herself on what drives the sub-category and optimize these drivers
- Should have an understanding on the government regulations for online selling of food supplements, over-the-counter medicine and medical supplies
- Does health market research to know what opportunities can be unlocked for the sub-category

Operational Excellence- Build strong relationships with key accounts to collaborate with them in growing their business in Lazada using the different tools and workstreams available
- Able to understand and master the mechanics of the different tools to provide curated recommendations to key accounts
- Understand and familiarize operational and financial processes to efficiently address concerns on key accounts
- Closely coordinate with other departments (operations, finance, customer service, business risk, etc.)
to further assist key accounts
- Work with the business development team on acquiring relevant health brands/sellers with a focus on pharmaceutical brands
- Work with the onsite and offsite marketing team to drive awareness for the sub-categories handled

Strategy leadership- Creates strategies for the sub-categories (including all business units) handled to sustain growth year-on-year
- Ability to take leadership in different ad-hoc projects
- Thinks outside the box - spearhead unique projects for the category

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree/ University degree
- 2+ years of experience in Merchandising and Sales & Marketing
- With a background in sales; exposure to the pharmaceutical industry; e-commerce experience is a plus
- Must be adept in MS Office Programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Directly brings knowledge of the category
- Possesses superb business judgment with a desire to manage their own business
- Must be flexible, adaptive and versatile; able to work well with different teams
- Can lead discussions with both brands and marketplace sellers
- Highly skilled in problem/ solution analysis:

- Must have innovative problem-solving skills
- Able to dissect and determine root causes of problems and implement solutions, both short term and long term
- The individual should have a proven track record of successful negotiations and relationship management (both internal and external)
- Can easily develop rapport with key accounts across different business units
